Ich werde meine Schuhe und meine Trauer ablegen
und zu dir zurückkehren, so habe ich ausgespielt
und stelle mich vor deinen Blick.

Mein G´tt mein Herr mein Schöpfer, erleuchte mich
mit deinem Schein, so liege ich vor dir auf einer
Wolke und wiege mich in den Schlaf.

Und rede zu mir gute Worte, und sag mir, dass
ich bin dein Kind, und küsse mir von meiner
Stirn die Zeichen meiner Sünde.

Ich habe doch meine Botschaft erfüllt, und dein
g´ttliches Lied getragen. Und bin ich denn schuldig
dass Jude und Lied sich reimen ?

Und bin denn schuldig, dass "schön" und "vorüber"
sich reimen ? Und die Sehnsucht die wahre Sehnsucht
wandert fortlaufend allein ?

Was bin ich denn schuldig, Erleuchter, wenn ich
jetzt niedergeschlagen und müde bin, und lege
dir zu Füssen, das selbe müde Lied ?

Mein G´tt mein Herr mein Schöpfer, erleuchte mich
mit deinem Schein, so liege ich vor dir auf einer
Wolke und wiege mich in den Schlaf.

Television and Internet

Many of us from the software industry actually left their TVs in the corner of some dusty room or actually dumped it because the "variety" of content offered was simply overwhelmingly ...stupid. And we are happy with Internet that offers so much immediate info and depth in insight at a fingertip, that gives us the opportunity to build that global village we all have been striving for. And suddenly the so-called TV industry reaches out and wants to swallow us and our freedom, commercialize it without mercy and regret; even wants to force their "standards" of unilateral monkeyness onto our internet. How do we resist, keep the rule of law and the reign of creativity, offer that multitude of options for finding out more on the interrelational character of knowledge? Well at first we have to stop regulating. Liberty dies when to much redtape tries to fence it in their zoo. Protecting legitimate rights is an important and positive issue that we as small producers of software will fight for but everybody`s rights - big or small individual and company. SOPA, PIPA etc. are no solution to the problem. Let us all find a free economy solution to it, where crime is dried out, where the Internet will not become a second TV.

Strategical loneliness

At a public discussion yesterday whether and where to build an electricity plant based on natural wood to be built. Details and sizes were discussed, opinions exchanged but after all the real dilemma came out to the open: Alternatives to nukes take space and time to and might not look really pretty. Nobody wants them either in his neighbourhood. But in the end somebody has to decide strategically. Just like in our (software) industry where strategical decissions make you really lonely. Save the hurrahs afterwards as a reserve when they blame you for the mistakes that became obvious only later on...
